r/cats 4 days ago WheelyMcFeely Went to check out a noise outside at my mom's house and found a very friendly cat. After we decided to take him home, he called in his equally friendly cohort. I think they pulled a scheme on us.

This is the same place we rescued a kitten from two years ago, so there's a chance that the CDS has ordered a family reunion of sorts. First order of business is to call the vet and get them checked out and their neutering scheduled. Also tick pulling. So much tick pulling.

WheelyMcFeely OP • 4d ago • Edited 4d ago I'm thinking they were always outside judging from the amount of ticks and old tick bites and the fact they're intact males, but if our suspicions are true they've always had shelter under my mom's porch and were fed pretty regularly by her for like the first year of their life after their possible momma was rescued. Might also explain why they're so friendly too! 411 Reply ...

WheelyMcFeely OP • 4d ago • Yeah I'm thinking they're brothers. There was a momma cat that kept having litters under my mom's porch until she was finally caught and spayed after the third time along with most but not all of the litter. We rescued our youngest cat Penny from that third litter and think these boys are either from the same one or the one before with how similar they look to her.

WheelyMcFeely OP • 4d ago • The main hurdle after the vet is going to be introducing them to the other cats, I have a feeling it won't be too bad though since they are already “chatting" through the crack under the door.

WheelyMcFeely OP • 4d ago Oh absolutely we're gonna get them scanned and also put feelers out in the area we found them, even if they were always outdoors and just being fed by people I don't want anyone to be worried about them.
